City Sights: Hello, Seattle! is an enjoyable hidden object game in which you take a tour around this fantastic city. You will visit different locations of the city looking for particular objects in different scenes.
Each location is wonderfully rendered, with beautiful colors and enchanting sound effects. For every scene, the list of objects is divided into three levels: easy, medium, and hard, but this barely has to do with the real difficulty of the game. Sometimes, it was easier for me to find the objects of the "hard" level than of the "easier" ones. However, you get more points for the objects on the hard list. In order to get to the next level, you need to find all the items in the given time. Some of the items are tricky, but you can use as many hints as you want per level. There are also trophies that add more challenge to the game.
If you finish some levels in less than five minutes, and without using any hints or suffering any penalties for incorrect clicks, you will be awarded one of the three big trophies. What is more, you can obtain other awards for finding objects in the specific order they appear on the list, or finding 10 particular items of a scene, etc. All the levels can be replayed as many times as you want, and even though the list of objects to find is different, the objects in the scene remain in the same position. Although trying to earn all the achievements is fun, this is completely optional and you can simply ignore them and play without pressure. In between the hidden object games, there are a few spot-the-difference sections which are very well-done, but are not really challenging.
All in all, City Sights: Hello, Seattle! is a cute and interesting game that will surely keep you playing for a long time, especially if you want to get all the trophies and awards. |
